The Tama County Economic Development
Commission strives to coordinate the
cultivation and development of Tama County's
business environment by aiding business,
agriculture, industry and residents in
maximizing their full economic potential
within the county and beyond.
The
Commissions efforts reflect its commitment to
retaining and expanding existing businesses, concern
for new and small business development, advocacy on
behalf of agriculture and housing, and the
determination to aide Tama County communities in
addressing their economic development needs. Tama
County Economic Development devotes it resources to
assisting county employers, producers and
communities in succeeding and preparing for the
challenges and opportunities of Tama County's
future.

Roelofse
Executive Director
Lindi is an MBA graduate of the
Tippie School of Management at the University of Iowa.
Experiences include new product development projects and
market research for Warner Brothers, Hospice, ACT, AARP, NCS
Pearson, Mohawk Carpeting, X-Blox, and Executive Coaching
International.
Originally from South Africa,
she enjoys arts events/experiences, playing board games,
solving puzzles, and learning new things.

Husak
Secretary
Joanne has been with Tama
County Economic Development since May
of 2001. Joanne is a native of Tama
County, having grown up near Vining.
She graduated from South Tama County
High School and Hamilton Business
College in Cedar Rapids, graduating
from the executive secretarial
program. She was a legal secretary
in Cedar Rapids.
Joanne
and her husband, Jerome, and
daughters, Katie and Kylie, reside
in rural Tama.
