Through collaborative leadership we supplied a pipeline of $812 million in new capital investment projects to strengthen and diversify the assets in Iowa. But beyond big number private-sector prospects we also work with the progressive small businesses, nonprofits, civic leaders, workforce, education institutions, utilities, transportation, housing, etc to maximize productivity and long-term prosperity in our evolving economic landscape.

Partnership Update: Meskwaki signs 28E agreement to join Tama County Economic Development Commission

It is a pleasure to share news that the Tama County Economic Development Commission partnerships got stronger this morning when the Sac and Fox Tribe of the Mississippi in Iowa joined into their first 28E Partnership. We look forward to continue building on the assets of having a culturally diverse economic base, pioneering rural accomplishments, and momentum of successes achieved over the past 3.5 years with successful informal project partnership like hosting RAGBRAI 2008 overnight, the first Iowa Tourism Conference in rural Iowa, Iowa Great Places designation, progress on advocating for the 4-laning Highway 30 and numerous smaller projects that provided mutual benefit.

We trust that this partnership will mark the beginning of an even stronger coalition and platform from which to increase capacity in actualizing the full potential of Tama County, Iowa’s assets.
