July 27, 2010 Tama County Economic Development Commission formally approved its  Strategic Investment Plan, 2010 – 2013 recognizing the backwards and forwards linking capacity of green investment in its core goals. And Tama County leaders are not alone in making this connection. Financial, technical and educational resources are lining up around this philosophy as a socially, environmentally, and economically sound strategy for long-term sustainable vitality.
