Entrepreneurship Update: Public invite to behind the scenes manufacturing plant visit, April 12

Ever wondered what happens behind the scenes at our local manufacturing plants? This Tuesday the Tama County Entrepreneurship Trust will co-host the first behind-the-scenes sneak peak into industry in Tama County.  See first hand the different stages of development on an assembly line at Rowan Equipment and Fabrication in Dysart.

Rowan Equipment and Fabrication designs, fabricates and builds custom equipment and components for a vast array of industries including agriculture, transportation, medical, housing, glass, recreational, food, construction, recycling and entertainment.  They do repairs, build prototypes and complete modifications for anything from CNC equipment to the smallest parts and components.  Rowan Equipment furthermore creates metal art designs for private individuals.  Check out their gallery at www.rowanequipment.com.

If you are an entrepreneur interested in hosting a behind-the-scenes industry visit for an upcoming Entrepreneurship Trust meeting, please touch base. We hope to introduce creative and inquisitive minds to new ways of looking at the world. Students exploring career options are also very welcome.
