A sincere thank you to Rowan Equipment & Fabrication in Dysart for hosting the last Tama County Entrepreneurship Trust behind the scenes industry visit. With our special “backstage manufacturing passes” we had a chance to see for ourselves some of the evolution in industrial technology that is allowing our manufacturing plants in rural Iowa to produce complex custom solutions in blue chip industries with a fraction the workforce team it took 10 years ago. And did we mention the lightning speed?
We are excited to announce today that our next host will be the EDIE 2010 Award winner in Entrepreneurship, Fox Ridge Winery in rural Traer. We will get an opportunity to see what happens behind the scenes, find out what resources were most valuable in their startup, as well as explore the journey to get this entrepreneurial family to the point of opening their doors this month one year ago.
