Tama County Community Foundation grant cycle open November 1

The Tama County Community Foundation, an affiliate of the Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa, will begin taking grant applications for the 2015 grant cycle on Saturday, November 1, 2014.  Applications may be found online at www.tamaccf.org.  The deadline to apply is midnight on January 15, 2015.

A training session will be held on November 1, at 9:00 a.m. at the Traer Library.  The training should last about an hour; the governing committee will be available to answer questions.

Eligible applicants must be a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, a governmental body (school, city, county), or a charitable project with a qualified fiscal sponsor.  Grants may be awarded in the following areas:  arts and culture, community betterment, education, environmental protection and education, health, historic preservation, and human services.  For specific questions on applications and eligibility please contact the Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa at (319) 287-9106.
