TCED Hosts IEDA Director

Tama County Economic Development hosts Iowa Economic Development Authority.  IEDA Director, Debi Durham (center) and Michael Gould (right), Manager of Business and Insurance Development stopped by the TCED office for a Tama County update.  Katherine Ollendieck, TCED Director (left) provided updates for each community and took the opportunity to talk in-depth about business expansions, the IJH and all of the amazing projects happening in Tama County.

The Iowa Economic Development Authority’s (IEDA) mission is to strengthen economic and community vitality by building partnerships and leveraging resources to make Iowa the choice for people and business. Through two main divisions – business development and community development – IEDA administers several state and federal programs to meet its goals of assisting individuals, communities and businesses.
